What should I should wear/bring?​​​

Flip-flops, deck shoes or boat boots only. Please no black soled shoes, as it marks up the boat.

Most wear shorts because of the heat, but we recommend dressing in layers so that you can fluctuate with temps throughout the trip.

We recommend bringing a rain jacket and dry bag to keep a change of clothes and other personal belongings dry during the trip.

Bring sunglasses, a hat, bug spray, lip balm and sunscreen lotion (no spray allowed on the boat).

Bring an ice chest, but keep it secured in your vehicle! We will fill it up with the fish you caught, cleaned and ready-to-cook!
What is included in my trip?

Do you supply food/snacks on the trip?
Water and light snacks are provided for each trip. We partner with Quave Brothers Poboys and Meat Market (click to see menu) to provide sandwiches, chips and drinks. Orders must be placed with our team 48 hours in advance. Visit their FB page at https://www.facebook.com/quavebr

How do I get excited and ready for my fishing trip, mentally?
You will love listening to podcasts with our friends over at Brown Water Banter. They provide listeners with local information as well as entertaining interviews with various captains around Biloxi. ​

Do you have recommendations on where we should stay?
Visit our "Local Recommendations" page. Local hotels, Casinos, VRBO, and AirBNB can be suggested. Just give us a call and we would be happy to point you in the right direction.

Do I bring my own tackle?
No. Save yourself the headache. We urge you to leave your gear at home and use ours. We keep the best gear and tackle, custom made gaffs, and a large variety of baits and lures. Visit Zook Rods to view some of our sponsored gear.

What if I break or lose something on the boat?
We understand that accidents happen, however, any gear lost or broken due to neglect will be added to the cost of the trip. You will be informed when and if a charge should occur.

It's my trip and I've been on boats before. Can I just do what I want?
We want you to have fun, but remember the Captain makes all decisions and has the final say at all times while aboard the vessel due to safety for all crew members.

Do I need to get my fishing license for Mississippi?
No. Fishing licenses are included in your trip fees! Anglers do not need to take any course of action.

​Don't forget to snap photos. If you post on social media, please tag us and use the hashtag #StrikeZoneBiloxi. We can also post them on our website afterwards, with your permission.

What if I have to cancel my trip due to unforeseen circumstances?​
$500 non-refundable deposit is required to book and reserve a trip date. Cancellations for any reason will result in the deposit being transferred to another date within one year of the original book date. After one year the deposit is considered expired. The deposit amount is applied to trip costs listed above.

Is it customary to leave a tip?​
Yes. A 20% tip, based on the total cost of the trip and fuel is normal. Our Captain and deckhand will provide a safe and clean boat, education of the fisheries and local islands, clean the boat and fish, and bag filets at the dock for anglers to pack in their ice chests.
